Sunset + Lightning + Train at the same time. What a serendipitous moment!

One evening, we saw an unforgettable sunset after a storm. We stopped near a freeway and a railroad, hoped to shoot some lightnings. After a while, two headlights were slowly towards us in a distance, I thought it was a car and wondered why it’s moving so slowly. Gradually the headlights came to closer. Oh, it’s a freight train.

As the train was passing in the middle of my camera’s frame, my lightning trigger fired right away. At the same time, I saw there is lightning strike in the sunset clouds. Later at home I was so happy that I had captured a completely unexpected photo.

Sometimes, the best photographs are the ones you never planned for.
